Culinary Usages – Sprinkle into soups, stews, vegetable dishes, eggs, rice and other foods. Powdered watercress may also be tinctured. Cosmetic Usages – Infuse in oil to make skin creams and lotions.
Like its botanical relatives, the watercress has a pepper-like and mildly spicy aroma and flavor. Because watercress is also abundant in vitamins A and C, folic acid, calcium and iron, the powdered herb is typically encapsulated as a dietary supplement.
